Carbon Disclosure Project S&P 500 Reveals Most US Companies Being Proactive on Climate Change Despite Lack of Mandates
The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) S&P 500 report released on September 19, 2011 reveals that for the first time in the CDP’s ten year history the majority of US companies are reporting strategies for climate change. The CDP’s report analyzed information from 339 of the largest US corporations and was written by global professional services firm PwC. Highlights of the findings include:
